Almost everyone knows the frustration of a cell phone on the fritz (freezes, doesn't dial), but what do you do when your iPhone freezes up and is unresponsive?
Here are 5 different ways to fix your iPhone when it freezes and leaves you helpless:
1.RESTART YOUR iPHONE: No brainer, everyone knows this one, but I figured I would say it anyway (you'd be surprised how many people don't think of something so simple). Just hold down the power/sleep button on the top right of your iPhone until you see the apple logo in the middle of the screen. Oh so simple!
2.HOLD DOWN THE HOME BUTTON: The only button on your iPhone that is just that, a button (besides the sleep and volume buttons), is called the Home button. In order to remedy whatever problem you have with your iPhone, hold the Home button for 5 to 10 seconds.
3.TRY TO RESET YOUR iPHONE: If you hold down both the Power and Home buttons at the same time, it should reset and restart your iPhone.
4.RESET YOUR iPHONE SETTINGS: Go to the Home screen, tap Settings, then tap General, then Reset, and finally Reset All Settings (don't worry , this won't erase anything you have downloaded). This may fix your problem, but you may have to adjust your settings back to the way you like it.
5.RESTORE YOUR iPHONE: Connect your iPhone to your computer like you would if you were going to sync. Then select iPhone option in iTunes source list, click Restore on the Summary tab.

If you are like me then you have had cell phones that get crappy reception, turn off randomly, have screens that become near unreadable and have drop calls on almost a daily basis.
If you have had a Motorola Razor like I have, you know exactly what I am talking about, but if you have the iPhone, then those annoying problems are a distant memory. I have only had my iPhone for about a couple a months now, but I honestly don't know how I lived without it in the first place, sad, but true. Being able to access the internet virtually anywhere you go, receive email and take pictures that are equal to some of the best digital cameras out there, the iPhone is one of the best buys I have ever made.
